- Previous Speaking Test Analysis: If you have taken an IELTS Speaking Test before, we'll review your performance in the test. We'll discuss the strengths and areas that need improvement based on the assessment criteria for the IELTS Speaking Test.
- Feedback and Suggestions: I'll provide specific feedback on your fluency, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, and coherence during the previous speaking practice or the actual IELTS Speaking Test. I'll point out the areas where you performed well and offer suggestions for improvement.
- Target Areas: Based on the feedback, we'll identify specific areas to focus on during the second half of the session. This could be improving fluency by reducing pauses, enhancing pronunciation of specific sounds, or incorporating more advanced vocabulary and expressions.
- Practice Exercises: We'll engage in various speaking exercises tailored to address your target areas. For example, we may do tongue twisters to work on pronunciation, engage in role-play scenarios to improve fluency, or practice using complex sentence structures to enhance coherence.
Session 2: IELTS Speaking Review and Mock Test (Duration: 30 minutes)

- Mock IELTS Speaking Test: We'll simulate an IELTS Speaking Test, following the format of the actual test. This will involve three sections: Part 1 (Introduction & General Questions), Part 2 (Cue Card), and Part 3 (Follow-up Discussion).
- Feedback on Mock Test: After the mock test, I'll provide detailed feedback on your performance. We'll discuss your responses, language usage, coherence, and how well you addressed the questions in each part.
- Time Management: I'll also offer time management tips to ensure you make the most of the given time during each part of the IELTS Speaking Test.
- Final Tips and Strategies: In the last few minutes of the session, I'll share some final tips and strategies to boost your confidence and performance during the actual IELTS Speaking Test. These may include techniques for extending your answers, using linking words, or adding more details to your responses.
- Practice Plan: At the end of the second session, we'll create a personalized practice plan for you to continue improving your speaking skills leading up to the IELTS exam. This plan may include specific exercises, resources, and recommended study materials to work on independently.
